April 2007 Parking Seminar Recap

Timothy Haahs & Associates, Inc. (TimHaahs) hosted its second annual parking seminar on April 25, 2007. This all day event drew close to 100 professionals from the A/E/C industry. By attending, guests could earn valuable AIA continuing education learning units.

The seminar included a number of presentations given by professionals from the parking world, with extensive credentials in the industry.  Each session included a Question & Answer period for group discussion. Guests learned the importance of including parking planning early in the design process of mixed-use developments, as well as in the revitalization of downtown areas and main streets.

Presentations given during the seminar included: The Future of Parking, Mixed-Use Developments and the Role of Parking, Parking Operations and Revenue Control, and Shared Use Parking Analysis.

The seminar concluded with a catered cocktail reception, giving attendees an opportunity for networking.
